ok guys so im finally posting the pics of the 2 kakairu themed pumpkins i carved this year. i was going to do 3 and have one be of mission iruka but i ran out of time and pumpkins. but there is always next year. both are halco pictures but i dont think they were used in any dj's but i did get them from her site. onward to the pumpkins!

So, I went to Yaoi-Con last weekend just for a day. It was fun to get to wear Pit again! I spent several days beforehand trying to fix him up. The swords were the area of most concern. XD; I cut out the middle sections and reinforced them with wooden dowels and rigid wrap. I also fixed the magnets at the bottom. I'm glad it wasn't too heavy for them to work!

My friends Stacy and Jocelyn met up with me at the con and we had a lot of fun together! I got to cohost my first panel- SHOWDOWN. Pretty much, it was a bracket-style competition where 8 contestants on each side (uke and seme) battle their way to the top through reason and debate to see who ends up together- either the worst crack pairing ever or perhaps maybe even...the ultimate OTP?! XD I was so happy Kakashi won for seme! I can't remember the uke's name unfortunately. The audience got pretty into it and Stacy was a good host and very entertaining. I just kinda sat there looking pretty most of the time (chairs are not so wing-friendly), but it was still cool being up in front. For participating, the people got free pens and paper pads! Courtesy of the Marriott (actually, they were just there for the panels).

The rest of the con consisted of mostly shopping, eating, and general hanging out, as is common at most small cons. I bought a green Kakashi Gaiden shirt with young Kakashi on it running with his chidori and a KakaIru doujinshi. It's sad to think this is the last con I might get to go to for a long time if I go teach abroad and I still had to hold back. ;_; Maybe I'll be able to find something in Japan, but I'm pretty sure cons are much different there, and I don't even know if I'll be able to take any of my cosplays with me. XD; Maybe I can time a trip back to the States during con season... "Hi Mom, Hi Dad, HELLO COSPLAY!!!" XDDD

The last thing we did at Y-con before heading to Japantown for even more shopping and yum-mays was take a photo shoot outside in the courtyard. I'm so happy to have more pictures of myself as Pit! :D I still have to dig up EBK's too. He snagged me not long after I entered the con and was like "Where were you yesterday?" >:( Umm....trick-or-treating?

Anyway, outside photo shoot was fun. I was so excited to see columns holding up the gazebo (Helllloooo Skyworld). We got a Twilight Princess Link to join in the fun for a bit while we took some shots in there. I also created my own photo story with the help of Stacy and a muffin kindly donated by the volunteer's brunch. Check it out below!

I'm working on a doujinshi of Kakashi and Iruka.

My problem is, it's set at Kakashi's house, and I want to really make that clear by showing the actual layout of the guy's house.
I need reference pics!!

I want to have the reader actually be able to see that it's Kakashi's room and not something random so it's more er... realistic?
Any screen shots you guys can give me or pics from the manga would be extremely helpful!

(Oh, just to spur you, I'll give you KakaIru art in exchange for the best/most screen shots/pics! )

A few days ago I told my dear don_amoeba how I was doing, I told her that I was doing good enough, if we don't count that I hav a new job for the mornings, my classes in the afternoons and that I'm managing to fall asleep in every flat and non-flat surface I find xD I think I'm doing good.

That was before I had the urge to say hello to my downstairs neighbors but going through the floor because is more funny than going down the stairs.

So yesterday, a friend of mine came to see me to my flat, usually I don't have to much problem to navigate in the dark, I know my house pretty well to move around without lights. Well that's true when my mother doesn't leave anything laying around in the living room, like that suitcase of doom.

So my friend rang the doorbell, and when I went to open the door I didn't remember the suit case, so I triped over it.... I was so happy there wasn't anybody there to see me faceplant on the floor ¬_¬U even if he heard me from the other side of the door.

The funny part of all this is that my automatic reaction when I fall is to laugh hysterically, so I was there rolling on the floor, hurting like whoa with tears falling down my face and laughing my head off...and my poor friend on the other side of the door shouting my name worried out of his mind.

The good part of this is that I, at least, didn't broke my head aganist the door of the living room, that was slightly open waiting for me to trip.

Today, I'm at work with a twited wirst, a sore jaw, a knee that screams like a bitch when feels a little presure in the kneecap and a really bruised Ego.
